Born in Fran’s Kitchen
It all began in Fran’s kitchen.
Looking to use less plastic in her home, Fran found little to no alternatives to cling film on the market. So, a journey to hand craft her own beeswax wraps begun!
Lots of mistakes were made but, with plenty of practice (and many ruined irons!) Fran created our signature wax blend. And, what began in Fran’s kitchen soon blossomed into a brilliant business, known today as The Beeswax Wrap Co.

We are proud to hand craft our beeswax wraps. And now it’s not just our wraps, but a collection of sustainable plastic-free products for your home.
Today you’ll find our passionate team busy in our solar powered workshop. A contrast from Fran’s kitchen (but not too faraway) each wrap is crafted in our little corner of the Cotswolds using British beeswax and organic cotton.
No big machines, no big companies, just our small, amazing team here in the British countryside.

You can usually find me whizzing around our workshop and office, brainstorming with everyone to come up with new and exciting ideas and driving our little company forward to inspire more people to become plastic-free!

I’m here, there and everywhere, meeting new people and companies who are keen to spread the plastic-free word, and catching up with our brilliant network of retailers. And if I’m in the office, I’m sharing new creative ideas at a mile a minute!

Though my day-to-day role involves leading the workshop to create all of our wonderful products, I’m also the resident plastic-free guru and lead the team with inspiring plastic-free initiatives. I love to run a super efficient and tip-top workshop to hand make, pack and post your wraps and plastic-free products.

Everyone here says I’m an expert beeswax wrap maker, I suppose that’s true! Working in the workshop is definitely the most stress-free job I’ve ever had. Day to day you can usually find me making wraps and helping get orders ready to leave our workshop.

I like to keep it organised around here. You’ll normally find me managing big orders to make sure they get out on time! I love the ‘buzz’ in the workshop when a big wholesale order hits the counter. It’s great making them but even better seeing them head out the door after everyone’s hard work!
